Final Stretch, Final Nightmare...

Back to Melbourne on a cold Tuesday morning. 12˚ Celsius. What is even more difficult to bear is to leave my family and darling back home. I'm not someone who is easily homesick. But the life in Melbourne is not my kind of life. And having to leave my mum alone back home, makes me worried. My dad works on a shift basis. My younger sister is constantly working overtime. My youngest sister is constantly flying to Malaysia for work. My mum is all alone at home, having to care for Reanne and also to maintain the house. It must be tough on her. Hope I can spend more time with my mum when I'm back.

Another worry is my darling. I know it's not easy for her to accept this relationship. Having to be without her boyfriend for 2 years is definitely tough on her. Moreover, we started our relationship about 2 months before I depart for Melbourne in 2009, so I really appreciate her for everything she's done for me. When I am finally done with my studies and back in Singapore for good, I will definitely make it up to her! So my darling, wait for me!

Right now, I'm bunking in at Nicholas' place since he is back in Singapore until late March. So ZQ, Yiu Yiu and I are sharing his room for the period. Hopefully we can secure the available unit at Villiers Street, which is just a few units away from Nicholas. This way, we can move our things more easily. Still suffering from a lack of sleep. This morning, hitched a ride from Zi Xin's boyfriend to Bio21 to take the key from Yiu Yiu. I went back to leave my luggage at Nicholas' place before heading back to Bio21 to meet up with Dr Danny Hatters. And so, I began a day of being in a lab and also settling my enrollment application at Unimelb. Long day... Hopefully tomorrow will be better...

Reality has come to a halt. Nightmare resumes...

Time really does fly when you are enjoying yourself. Contrary to people waking up from a nightmare, I am walking into a nightmare. Back on 8 December 2009. Now going back to the dreadful place on 22 February 2010. Two and a half months passed by in a flash. Hope that my 10 months in Melbourne will pass by equally fast.

Came back and celebrated our 1st anniversary together. Since both of us are camera-loving people, it is natural I got my darling a Diana F+ (Moma) Edition camera. Nothing fanciful, just meet up, give my darling her present and off to Marché for diner. Simple and yet lovely day!

Celebrated 2009 Christmas with best friends over at my place for steamboat and gift exchange. Really hope we can continue our friendship. In the future, when we are all married, I hope we can visit one another's home for such gatherings. Also went for a gift exchange with Melissa and Baoling at Vivocity for diner.

Went for new year countdown with my darling and her buddies (Lishan and Yushan) as well as my buddies (CCL and his girlfriend and Bai Wei). The countdown party wasn't very impressive, but I guess this can't be helped since we did not pay for anything. Hahaha~

Went for crabs and also KTV with the Melbourne gang. Also celebrated Lisa's birthday at The Pump Room. Sorry that I didn't have much time with all of them due to many gatherings on my side as well as preparation for Chinese New Year. But I guess we will have our fun in Melbourne again!

Chinese New Year was a busy period, visiting relatives and eating goodies! Had fun with my cousins playing mahjong. I guess I have been going on a winning streak because Swee Yee is with me this time round. On the day when she wasn't with me, I lost $25. So I guess she's really my lucky star!

Again, nothing fanciful about our belated Valentine's Day. Just flowers and diner. Made a photo book for my darling and I hope she likes it. No doubt the present is inexpensive, but I think the hours spent and the love injected into the gift make it priceless.

二十八岁了！

二十八岁了！ 真的不敢相信！ 但是还是要接受事实。 老一岁，就要成熟多一分。 但是我也不想失去我的童真，因为我觉得拥有童真能让我为生活最小的事而开心。

二十八岁了，总要为生活做一些未来的规划。 这些规划会是我的一个秘密， 所以等时机成熟后， 就会跟我生边的人做些交代。 总觉得人生到了二十尾的时候， 就得准备踏入人生的另一个阶段。 对家人和爱人，都要有一些未来的交代。 不能再那么吊儿郎当了。

对这来临的一年， 也没什么特别的愿望。 就希望自己的学业有成， 拿个H1（First Class Honours）回来好向老板交代。 希望外婆， 爸爸， 妈妈， 妹妹们， 瑞億， 都身体健康， 工作顺利， 花红多多。

??? Wisdom = Luck ???

Ever since I removed my 3 wisdom teeth, I've been out of luck. So I am wondering if "wisdom" is equivalent to the "luck" of a person.

First, my receipt for my wisdom teeth extraction was discovered by my dad. S$2439.60. So he made a fuss and said that the neighborhood dentist can extract my 3 teeth for less than S$500. I explained to him saying that I went to a specialist and the bulk of it can be claimed from Medisave. He went on to tell my relatives that I got conned and that his dentist in Tampines took his wisdom tooth out for only S$200. Who the hell knows how long ago that was! So now I'm being branded the person who took his 3 wisdom teeth out for S$2500. To him, any dentist is a specialist because they "specialized" in the oral healthcare. He can tell me every dentist is a "specialist", so why do I have to go to Orchard to have mine extracted for S$2500?

Second, my dad SMS me this, "The GPS A/C to D/C charger is U/S.C whether can change or not because just bought before 3 months." Ultimate confusion on my side. I called and checked and he told me the charger cannot work. Please... It was working well when I charged it for the first time. If the first charge done by me was OK, why is it that when I am not around, things cannot work? Same for the desktop at home. I already said whenever the desktop prompts for update, DON'T DO IT! And yes, they still went on to do the update and now my desktop has this constant warning saying that my Windows is not the original version. Brilliant.

To make things worse, even the bloody clock in my room is not working! ROARS~~~~~~

OH MY TEETH!!!

Went for my wisdom teeth extraction yesterday. Took out my left upper and lower wisdom teeth, together with my right lower wisdom tooth. Totally damage: S$2439.60.

Right lower tooth. Totally fragmented due to the complicated position.

Left upper tooth. Easiest to extract, so it remains intact.

Left lower tooth. Also a bit complicated, so even the gum had to be cut out together with the tooth.

Went to 卢广仲 live performance at Dragonfly on 16 Jan 2010. It was a blast! Totally enjoyed his live performance! Very quirky, funny and definitely enjoyable! Ecstasy! He even sang a song for his 3rd album! Cool~ Thanks to Laysie for helping Swee Yee and I buy the tickets and also help us queue! Can't wait to attend his concert here, but I guess that will have to wait until I return from Melbourne at the end of the year. , please wait until I return and then hold your concert!

Beginning of a Nightmare

I am sure everyone hopes to go home and spend time with their loved ones. But for me, a nightmare has just began and I am not in favor of being home. I really hope my home can be more peaceful...

First Post of 2010

My wish for 2010? I'm not a believer of resolutions for a new year, because I find it really difficult to fulfill any resolution while being a student. Just hope to finish my studies as soon as possible and make it back home to begin my life once again.

Wish list for 2010? This is going to get interesting... I have a couple of things I hope to possess, even though I risk a scolding from my parents for wasting money and having no space at home ti store my "toys". Hahaha...

More to come! My brain is not working at the moment. Somehow back home, I seem to be very deprived of sleep. I wanted to sleep more, but I can't seem to get pass 10 a.m. Need to start my jogging regime since the festive season is over. I need to pass my IPPT!
